Frédéric Platéus presents here a series of unique polymer clay imprints, created from a personal selection of sports shoes that serve as references for his large-scale works.

Each imprint is framed against a background of recycled rubber, reminiscent of chewing gum pressed into asphalt, an ordinary object that finds its way into everyone’s path, yet can invite reflection on the traces we encounter and leave behind.
