Henrik Vibskov <\/strong>(b. 1972 in Kjellerup, DK)\u00a0is a multidisciplinary Danish artist whose unique signature style distinguishes itself across different media. He expresses himself through art, music, fashion, set and costume design, as well as product and exhibition design.<\/p>\n

Vibskov was already breaking away from the ordinary by the time he started his first year as a fashion design student at London art college, Central Saint Martins. He created an egg-shaped men\u2019s coat that concealed the body in every direction. After graduation with great honors Vibskov returned to his home country of Denmark and launched his eponymous fashion label that is known for its avant-garde collections and progressive fashion shows that lean toward performance art. In addition to his ready to wear collections, Vibskov also designs costumes and sets for music and theatre productions.<\/p>\n

Vibskov\u2019s work has been showcased in renowned solo and group exhibitions worldwide. His solo exhibitions include presentations at Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2015), MoMA PS1 in New York (2013), and ICA in London (2012). He has also exhibited at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan (2014), Lillehammer Art Museum in Norway (2017), and Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg, Netherlands (2018). Vibskov\u2019s works are part of public collections at institutions such as MoMA PS1 in New York and the Textile Museum of Sweden in Bor\u00e5s.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
